Training for trainers

Become qualified to work in adult education: our courses provide practical knowledge on planning, delivering and evaluating learning programmes.

The SVEB certificate is a recognised basic qualification for course leaders in adult education.
You will acquire the skills to professionally plan, deliver and evaluate learning sessions with groups of adults. You will learn to effectively support learning processes within the framework of established concepts, to formulate learning objectives, to adapt content to suit the target audience, and to use a variety of methods effectively. In addition, you will explore your role as a course leader, reflect on your teaching practice and further develop your teaching style. The course is practice-oriented, enabling you to apply what you have learnt directly in your own teaching.

The SVEB Certificate is recognised throughout Switzerland and is the first step towards the Swiss Federal Certificate for Trainers.

This is a combined course with SVEB certification as a trainer and certification as a language course leader in the field of integration. The course focuses on designing DaZ (German as a Second Language) lessons for adult migrants. It is designed to be undertaken alongside work and provides practical preparation for professional language teaching in the field of integration.

You will learn how to plan, deliver and evaluate scenario-based learning units in line with the didactic fide approach. You will support and encourage adult migrants in their second-language acquisition, taking into account their lived experiences, their individual learning prerequisites and needs, as well as the intercultural and transcultural context.
