Nursery «kidogo»
In November 2020 ECAP Bern opened a childcare centre called kidogo. The children of German and literacy course participants are looked after with great professionalism and commitment. Our kidogo welcomes children between six months and kindergarten entry.
The newly renovated kidogo's spacious area offers children the opportunity to play, romp, be creative and have a rest. Our young guests have the opportunity to gain their first experiences outside the family environment, to grow in various fields like language, social behaviour and self-confidence, and to experience daily Swiss culture.
The kidogo reflects ECAP's fundamental values: everyone, young and older, is welcomed and accepted for who they are, independent of origin and ethnic background. Consequently, even the youngest children learn to approach other people with an open and interested mind.
This offer is only open to children of our German or literacy course participants. The children are looked after regularly and for at least two months, from one to four half-days.
