Intensive German courses for job seekers in the Basel region
Do you have a lot of time on your hands and want to learn German intensively for your professional and private life? Then ‘German compact’ is the right course for you.
German compact with basic training is an intensive programme for job seekers in a foreign language. In the mornings, you acquire the language on a practical, everyday and labour market-oriented level, supplemented by official telc or fide examinations. In the afternoon, additional modules on basic skills related to the labour market can also be attended.
The basic course takes place daily from Monday to Friday from 08.30 to 12.00. The course lasts 10 weeks and comprises 200 lessons. We offer levels A1 to B2. You can enrol for a course at any level.
The cost of the course depends on your place of residence and family income. We will be happy to advise you. The afternoon modules and the end-of-course examination must be booked and paid for separately.
Basic training modules
The following modules can also be attended in the afternoon:
- Pronunciation training (all levels), Mondays
- German and job search, including the creation of a CV (A1-B2), Tuesday
- Reading and writing (Alpha 2, A1-A2), Wednesday
- Writing workshop (B1-B2), Wednesday
- Conversation (End A2-B2), Thursday
- ICT (A1-A2), Friday
Each module takes place once a week from 13.00 to 15.30. A module comprises 30 lessons.
