Learn German in Basel
Here you can find all our German courses in the city of Basel. We offer German courses in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and on Saturdays.
Our German courses have a modular structure and are based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). We offer levels A1 to C1. You can enrol for a course at any level.
The cost of the course depends on your place of residence and family income. We will be happy to advise you.
Free placement test
Your enrolment is only binding after the free placement test. Based on your language level, we will place you in the course at the level most suitable for you. This way you will be able to learn optimally in your group.

Integration courses for newcomers
The integration course ‘Deutsch Einstieg’ is the ideal course for newcomers. In addition to German lessons, the course offers personalised coaching. Intercultural interpreters support you in your mother tongue or in a language you can easily understand.
Free voucher Basel- City
Have you received a free voucher from the Canton of Basel-Stadt? With the voucher you can attend a course of 80 lessons free of charge. You can use the voucher to attend the following courses at ECAP Basel: Basic German, Intensive German, German in the Afternoon, German in the Evening or German on Saturdays.
